So, three big changes have come Steven and my way: we've gotten engaged, we've moved and settled in Rexburg, ID, and we've started school at BYU-I. Through all of this I've realized that there are 3 parts to life.
Engagement: We commit to engagements, commitments. We commit to relationships, we commit to God, to Life, to Love that we are dependable. We commit to teachers and classmates that we will do our part. We commit to roommates that we will do the dishes (or in my case clean the entire apartment because no on seems to grasp SANITARY conditions!). We commit to our parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles to keep them updated, which is not one of Steven or my own God given talents (as you see that I can't update my blog enough to keep an audience...). We commit. We engage.
Movement: We move to different cities. We move through the stages of life, sometimes even back and forth (I had to keep telling myself I had to revert back to student from soccer mommy). We change, or change finds us. We have to adapt, we have to keep up with life. We have to change our perceptions, our realities, our opinions. We have to change our mind. Change is enevitable. Moving is basically a guarentee.
Schooled: We are schooled in the ways of life. If we don't teach ourselves, we will be taught. We have to learn new things to keep up with everyone else. We have to learn from our own experiences as much as learning from other's experiences. We have to absorb new experiences, we need to reflect on our new found knowledge, and find comfort in our wisdom. Being schooled is inevitable. Especially Steven--he's got a good 6 years of schooling ahead of him. I have half the amount. Oh--and then there's spiritual learning within the temple. Steven and I had a chance to go to the Rexburg open house. I learned a lot, and it was only the open house. I can't wait until I get to go through sessions and learn A LOT. We are to gain wisdom and acquire wisdom on our "soujorn" here on earth.
More later. I promise.

I love this entry. You are so right. We do commit, and change, and move. Most people just don't do it in such a short time span as you do! So many experiences reflect on though! One spelling correction if I may - "guarantee" -Love to you and Stephen. Mom.
Hi Tiffany, I am tagging you. Read the latest post on my blog to see how it works. I look forward to reading your answers.
