Here are a few more pics of our little monkey. She's so much fun! Kaia is a great baby--doesn't cry unless her tummy hurts. Otherwise, she lets us know with her little squeaks and whimpers that she needs to be fed/changed/cuddled. We're both doing great. Thank goodness for help from Grandma & Grandpa Haskett and Auntie Kaylee! We've survived quite well and have been more than spoiled with such a sweet baby!
Getting in the groove is definitely priority #1 right now. I have faith that it will be just peachy. Steven is absolutely FALLEN for his baby girl. He said to me in the hospital after looking at her for a while, "I think I'm in love again!" He's a great daddy and Kaia absolutely adores him--she simmers right down when daddy gets a hold of her.
Steven got a new job today--again. They hired him right on the spot! He'll be working as a nursing assistant for an assisted living home. Our awesome friend Jeff Young worked there before and referred Steven yesterday. No more living off of "faith and a prayer" as Grandma Rogers says.
Everything is going great! More later, I'm sure--I'll get used to no sleep and be able to blog close to Elena and Chrissy's abilities...I hope!
